Paul Page

  • He’s a longtime radio and television voice of the Indy 500, which automatically makes him a great subject for the show. He came by the studio to record this conversation. It’s always easy to do shows with professional broadcasters. Because, you know, they know how to talk.

I had never met Page before we talked, and wished later I had kept the conversation going. I regret forgetting to ask him about the helicopter crash he survived, for example, but remembered to ask him plenty of other things. You’ll enjoy his insight to broadcasting the race, and into the life of Sid Collins, the legendary radio voice of the 500 who preceded him.

    First aired 2014
