This show came about as the result of a pitch. From Eddie himself, actually. But I’d been curious about his background, and how he became the (literally) colorful guy who reminds you of a character out of a movie, so I figured others might, too.
He came up the hard way, without connections, turning a gig as a PR guy for a small college athletic program in Pennsylvania to a job with Notre Dame’s media relations staff under the legendary Roger Valdiserri. He went on to head the Miami Dolphins medial relations staff, then took a job in Indianapolis with Logo Seven, and then found himself co-hosting an afternoon drive-time talk show, of all things.
