When I was about four years old, I flew to Birmingham (Alabama) with my mother. I can barely remember it, but my mom says the stewardess took me up into the cockpit.

When I was about seven, I flew to Miami with my mom. For some reason, I just started liking planes after that. Going through the clouds, feeling how fast we were going, I just couldn’t believe it. It was amazing. It’s fun, being up there by yourself in another state, just up there looking down. I told my parents after that I wanted to be a pilot, a doctor or a train engineer. I liked traveling, and I like the kind of things you don’t see every day, like a train or an airplane.
